Our tours offer you a variety of guided creative activities and opportunities to connect with warm, friendly locals and discover their world.

Why Morocco

You will adventure from the desert to the mountains to the oceans and oasis valleys of date palms and roses.

Every day in this country is so different – it will awaken your senses with colour, hustle and bustle, intense aromas of spices and incense; arts and crafts made using centuries-old techniques; and culinary delights – (learn to cook tagines with flavours that you could never imagine to be so good).

Morocco is poor and can be confronting to you, providing a fabulous and much-needed reality check. Rich in religion and tradition, Morocco offers you warm and friendly people who will make you

Who are we?

Moroccan Chill Tours offers you a mix of Moroccan local knowledge and charm; very safe and experienced driving; caring support for you as we move from city to city; an experienced musical educator; a certified yoga guide; an experienced and caring coach; a trained artist, and a load of passion for fun and adventure!

All in a close team of 3! Mohamed, Robin and Kerrie.

Kerrie (Kez)

Kerrie will guide us on our journey together in Morocco and into your untapped creative and exploration potential. Moroccan Chill Tours was born from her idea to bring together the things that make her heart sing most- art, coaching and travel!

Kerrie has been running tours since 2017, with many successful and life-changing adventure tours since then.

Starting her career as a microbiologist (helpful in keeping our tummies safe on tour) she transitioned in Human Repurses in 1986. Since then, she has enjoyed a successful career as an HR Director and Consultant, coaching many senior executives and leading leadership development and strategic planning workshops for commercial organisations. Although Kerrie is highly sought after in her career as a coach and HR leader, her true passion lies in drawing and painting.

Kerrie has participated in several art exhibitions, and her work has been sold to collectors both here and overseas!

In her career, Kerrie has spent innumerable years as a stressed executive lady in various corporate leadership teams. She has felt the exhaustion you may be feeling and the struggle to find her work-life balance – as a successful executive, mother and wife. Kerrie has made many visits to Morocco, including spending 7-8 weeks on a deeply personal and artistic journey. It was then that Kerrie knew that she could help other amazing women on their journey to discover how they, too, can discover their work-life balance and that Morocco was the perfect place to hold her wonderful tour.

Mohamed

Meet our amazing and very caring driver, Mohamed. Mohamed is our link to authentic Morocco.

Mohamed is a Moroccan Berber, born in a tent in the High Atlas Mountains. Mohamed’s family are nomads moving from place to place to feed their sheep all year round! After attending school for 3 years, he left to look after his father’s herd. A few years later, he started working for a truck driver in return for food and board. This driver eventually taught Mohamed to drive, and for the last fifteen years, he has worked as a professional driver for many well-known tour companies and on all of our tours.

It is he who arranges our local city guides and accommodation, communicates for us in local communities, surprises us with special places and activities, provides us with snacks on long days and solves any problems you may have along the way.

Mohamed organises year-round short local tours and private, self-designed tours for you outside our main adventures. He will work with you directly to do this.

Mohamed will load and unload our suitcases; keep our bus clean and cosy; will make us laugh, but most of all keep us safe as we travel from town to town – no day is too big, and he is always there waiting for us with a huge smile!

Robin

The lovely Robin joins our yoga tours, offering the opportunity to experience the joy of yoga against a backdrop of incredible Moroccan natural beauty!

Aside from being a qualified Yoga instructor, Robin is a highly experienced music educator who has worked in several Sydney schools. Robin has directed many choirs and inspired countless children towards a love of music! Her greatest moment was singing in St Marc’s Basilica in Venice. Robin will make our souls and bodies sing on our journey and maybe help us ‘give back‘ to the children during our school visit in the Sahara!
